A Message from Our Principal

Dear Families,

Welcome to the 2024–2025 school year! I am eager to begin my third year as the RES principal. The new school year brings opportunities for growth, overcoming obstacles, and lots of fun! The district theme this school year is “ALL IN,” and we will be embracing this at RES as we continue to provide our students with engaging, relevant, and personalized learning experiences.

Through our partnership with families and community stakeholders we foster academic, social, and emotional learning for all students while promoting wellness, inclusivity, respect, and belonging. I am grateful for the support of these partnerships.

At Ridgebury we are focused on the following:

Academic excellence: We are committed to providing all students with the opportunity to succeed. We will offer a rigorous and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.

Social-emotional learning: We know that students who are emotionally healthy are better learners. We will provide opportunities for students to develop their social-emotional skills through the use of the responsive classroom approach and RULER tools. As we help students navigate social situations and problem solve challenging situations we will also utilize restorative practices.

School climate: We want our school to be a safe and welcoming place where all students feel respected and valued. We will work together to create a positive school climate where everyone feels like they belong.
